WWCC - Basic Power + Hand Tools Knowledge

Free!

In response to the recent LA wildfires, we’re opening our space and woodshop to offer a series of free skill-building classes for those directly impacted by the fires.

These classes are designed to help individuals gain practical skills as they rebuild and move forward. While our regular job training programs—focused on job readiness and paid training—are separate, they are a key part of our ongoing work to support and uplift the Los Angeles community as a whole. Our mission is to provide empowerment through hands-on skills and create pathways for a stronger, more resilient future.

This is an informational class for beginners to learn how to use basic power and hand tools such as:

  • Hand Drill
  • Impact Driver
  • Nail Gun
  • Air Compressor
  • Handsaw (Western and Japanese)
  • Hammer

No experience is required!
