WWCC - Wooden Pottery Tool Making Workshop

Calling all ceramicists! Here's a workshop dedicated to helping you make that custom shaping tool you want/need but can't find for purchase.

Students will begin class by choosing a form they would like to make and then the instructors will provide demos on how to safely and properly use the machines/tools needed to fabricate the shape. A lesson on sanding and finishing will complete the class. 

  • No experience is required. 
  • Class size is limited to 6 students. 
  • Would Works is committed to ensuring that all classes are financially accessible to all so courses are offered on a sliding scale. Please pay what you can.

INSTRUCTORS: This class will be co-taught by ceramic artist and animator Ako Castuera (known for her ceramic practice and work in City of Ghosts and Marcel the Shell with Shoes On) and Michele Liu (Would Works Director)
